Samovar Restaurant is a unique tea house near the entrance to the city, being a favorite place for both locals and tourists. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it is a samovar-shaped building. The first floor of the tea house consists of the "legs" of this enormous samovar, the balconies resemble its "handles", and the brick-built roof follows the shape of its "crown". The restaurant itself is some kind of a family heirloom, as it was built by Naftalan resident Arastun Aliyev in the mid-80s and passed to his sons after he died. Arastun Aliyev planted and grew all 54 plane trees and 28 pine trees surrounding the tea house with his own hands.
